Ben Saxton is a New Orleans-based writer whose essays and nonfiction have appeared in The Big Roundtable, Academic Medicine, The Health Humanities Reader, the Flannery O’Connor Review, Tolkien Studies, Two Plus Two Magazine, and elsewhere. He graduated from Lafayette College and received a PhD in American literature from Rice University.
Ben teaches at Tulane Medical School and Bard Early College. He’s also a member of the Peauxdunque Writers Alliance.
